Hello! My name is Susie Lim and I’m a second year in UC Irvine. My major is undecided/undeclared but I’m leaning towards psychology and social behavior major and education minor because I want to teach and I love kids. I was born in Fountain Valley and grew up in Irvine. I’m the only child in my family, and although it gets lonely at times, my friends are there to support me and play with me. J I don’t have a big hobby, but I do like art, drawing, and hanging out with my friends. I don’t listen to a specific genre of music, but I like almost everything. (Korean music, hip-hop, R&B, etc) I don’t really watch television, but because of the latest technology, I watch some shows online like Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girls, Samantha Who, and funny clips from You-tube. Reading is okay, but if someone was to give me a good book or a novel and told me to read it, I would, but I just never have the time. If I had any super power it would be to fly because sometimes when I’m stressed I like to runaway from my problems, and it’d be great if I flew to places where I want to go and where I want to be so that I can relax and not think of my problems. I usually work on the weekends or if I have time, then I would try to relax at home or spend time with my friends.
I’m not into politics really, but I was raised in traditional Asian family with strict rules and with Christian views. I’m not a type of person to discuss politics and try to pick a side or vote. If I do have a voice, I’m not the type of person to say something and tell everyone, but usually just to listen to others and see what kinds of views they have. As for the war in Iraq, I just wish all the soldiers came home soon because of many of my friends are serving in the military.

Hi Susie,
We are pretty similar. I'm switching into PSB major and minoring in Education too. maybe we're taking some of the same classes.
I guess you are Korean then eh? My girlfriend's half korean and her last name is Lim too... she also watches those shows online, and she likes art stuff. I think you two may get along well. I think flying would definitely be a great gift to have... and I hope you're friends are doing ok in the military.

I totally agree about what you said about reading. I love a good book, but it's so hard to read for pleasure when there is so much school work to do!
Hey Susie! I'm a psychology major and I'm considering an education minor as well! Definitely agree with you and amanda on the reading, I also found that throughout high school I read so many good books that were kind of ruined when they would make you over analyze and keep quote journals and so on.
